i got myspace!! hurrrayyyy!!! www.myspace.com/mariemlxvii there's a few accoustic songs of mine on there...hopefully i can record them again with a band...that would be nice. i got to play  them at UMW last weekend. i was so nervous, because i've never played for a lot of people...just mainly my friends and family. and they were just staring at me and luckily i didn't freeze or fall off the stage or something really embarrassing:) i did mess up a few times. i could not remember parts of the chords for one song and just kept singing the verses until i remembered haha...but after a couple min. i looked out and thought...yep, this is what i want to do for the rest of my life...i felt at home, just being on that stage, so comfortable, and exciting. i was truly blessed that night. God's moving on that campus and i'm ready to be a part of whatever He has in store. Just gotta keep pressing in...

my friends i love you all so much, i pray together we can grow, sharpen each other not be afraid to be different, to live the way God intended us to....to help each other stand strong, to not give up when the days seem to never end, to see through God's eyes, to walk hand in hand with our Savior. It's a bold thing to say, because really, who wants to live in the desert. It's hot, and dry with nothing but sand and cactuses for miles and miles. But if that's what it takes, to go back to the place in our lives where we can hunger for God like never before and thirst for something greater than we can only imagine, then take me there.

random thought

The world's so much fun when you like someone, and even more fun when they like you back. it just sneaks up on you when you least expect it and then it takes over you and you can't think straight, or speak right. all those butterflies that never stop, and you just want to shout it out, and let the whole world know. It's a beautiful thing
